Managing Director, Centre of Excellence for Public Sector Marketing

Claire is an accomplished project manager within the world of marketing and sales for over 25 years,   including an emphasis in the event and trade show industries and consulting within high-profile public sector and private sector initiatives.  Of note is the role she played managing several portfolios with major public sector clients including Public Works and Government Services Canada, Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Natural Resources Canada. These ranged from managing major special events nationally to a marketing campaign introducing Greeters at major Canadian airports across Canada. She has knowledge of every aspect of the event marketing, sales and management to include marketing communications, trade show sales, marketing and management, conference development, management and execution and a niche area of sponsorship development, sales and service.  A stickler for detail and a master at planning and execution, she has extensive experience as a senior consultant managing sub-contractors, stakeholders and large teams.

Currently, she is Managing Director of the Centre of Excellence for Public Sector Marketing where she is responsible for daily operations, corporate marketing, and customer service.  Alongside this role, she is Director of the highly acclaimed MARCOM Annual Conference, public workshops program, webinars and online products.

As a seasoned executive, she never forgets her start and enjoys mentoring marketing and event management students and young professionals as they launch their careers.
